    Overview

John Taylor High School approached us with the vision of creating a dedicated study library for their Sixth Form students. The aim was to develop a modern, functional space that would inspire focused, independent learning while maintaining a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere.

Although the school already had a style in mind, they needed support to translate their ideas into a cohesive and practical design. Our role was to refine the concept, propose layout solutions, and deliver a complete furniture package that aligned with their aspirations for the space.

    The Challenge

• Designing a new, efficient layout to maximise use of the available space.
• Supplying and installing a full range of study furniture tailored to the needs of sixth form students.

    The Outcome

The final study library successfully balances modern style with everyday functionality. After presenting several colourway options, the school selected their preferred scheme, which was then brought to life with a carefully curated furniture package.

The new layout provides a variety of study settings – from individual focus desks to collaborative seating areas – allowing students to choose how they learn best. The contemporary finishes and clean design details give the room a fresh, modern identity while still feeling aligned with the school’s wider environment.

Delivered from concept to completion, the project has given John Taylor High School a high-quality study library that supports academic achievement and reflects the school’s forward-looking vision for its Sixth Form.
