Light Hall School – Sixth Form Lounge

    Overview

Light Hall School wanted to create a Sixth Form lounge with a clear purpose: to provide an inviting, contemporary space that would not only serve existing pupils but also help attract new students to the school. The lounge needed to feel aspirational, comfortable, and distinct from other school areas, giving Sixth Form students a sense of independence and ownership.

    The Outcome

The completed Sixth Form lounge combines style and practicality to create a space that feels modern, aspirational, and perfectly suited to older students. By exploring a variety of design inspirations, we worked with the school to establish a look and feel that aligned with their vision and goals.

The new layout encourages both social interaction and focused study, with a balance of soft seating and functional furniture. Durable finishes ensure longevity, while the design itself reflects a fresh, contemporary identity that helps the school stand out to prospective students.
