We spend so much time tapping away at computers and mobile devices these days. We're constantly sending emails, completing spreadsheets, updating social media and typing new policies.
Yet time and time again we find ourselves reaching out for pen and paper and, more times than not, it's a ballpoint pen that we rely on.
The ballpoint pen was invented by Laszlo Biro, born from the idea that a pen with quick-drying ink and a rollerball tip would be so much more convenient than easily smudged India ink. Laszlo developed his idea and, with his brother Georg, filed a patent for the 'Biro' pen in 1943.
The toughness of these pens meant they quickly found favour with the British Royal Air Force, and they've been a staple of classrooms, offices and homes ever since.
Our eziGLIDE ball pens are very popular with a wide range of customers, offering very smooth-flowing ink and a nice writing feel at a very competitive price. They're available in six colours, including the purple and green that have become popular as much more friendly colours in the modern classroom. The colour-coded barrels mean you'll never pick the wrong colour up. You can buy them in handy boxes of 50, which you'll find here:
