Raise the banners!
Posted: 04 Jul 2019
A 1.2m banner can be perfect for a huge range of events including open days, celebration evenings and presentations.
If you've got a compatible printer, including most Konica Minolta Bizhub Multi-Function Devices, you can print them yourself, no matter how late someone comes up with a request for one!
We've got the ideal 1200 x 297mm paper here and, just in case you need them, some simple tips for printing banners on Konica Minolta devices:
- At the design stage, ensure your page size is set to the maximum size of 1200 x 297mm
- Select 'Printer Properties' when printing
- On the 'Basic' tab, select 'Original Size'
- Scroll to the bottom of the drop-down menu and select 'Custom'
- Enter the size of the banner and select 'OK'
- A pop-up will display advising a change of setting to the bypass tray
- Click OK
- Go to your device and select 'Utility' on the control panel
- Select 'Banner Printing' and click on 'Allow'. This locks the device down and no-one else will be able to print, scan or copy to it until you have finished and the banner printing mode is disabled again.
- Place your banner paper in the bypass tray, return to the PC and select 'PRINT'.
We hope this is helpful. If you print some particularly nice banners, send a photograph to sales@polycopy.co.uk and we'll be happy to share the best on our social media channels!
